They tied the knot in 2011
Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall and her retired rugby player husband Mike Tindall shared an important update regarding a golf charity event.
The couple, known for their public displays of affection, were seen wearing matching pink polos. Zara and Mike attracted a large crowd as they participated in a charity golf event to raise funds for Parkinson’s.
The 45-year-old former rugby player and the 43-year-old princess donned pink polo shirts for the occasion.
They were also joined by Zara’s older brother Peter Phillips and his ex-wife Autumn Phillips, who divorced in 2021.
The event took place at Belfry Golf Course in Gloucestershire, near where Mike and Zara live in Gatcombe Park.
In an adorable post, Mike took to social media to share a rare photograph of himself with his wife Zara.
He wrote: “I finally convinced Zara to stop practising her putting and have a photo with me!”
The father-of-three is raising money for the Matt Hampson Foundation and the Cure Parkinson’s charity.
The event, held at the Belfry Hotel and Resort in Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham, was attended by several of the couple’s friends, including Dame Denise Rosemarie Lewis DBE, actor James Nesbitt and former competitive swimmer Mark Foster.
It comes after Zara and Mike Tindall have reportedly pulled the plug on their plans to permanently moving to Australia over King Charles’ request.
According to the Daily Express, the daughter and son-in-law of Princess Anne have now decided on dividing their time between the UK and Down Under.
“Mike and Zara had both been toying with the idea of moving to Australia for a while but have finally reached the decision that it wouldn’t be right to uproot their family at this time,” the source told the outlet.
“When the idea was discussed seriously during a sit-down, it drew blank faces and teary eyes from several members of the family,” they continued.
“It became instantly clear that it wasn’t a move that could ever become permanent. Longer periods of time will be spent in Australia instead,” they added.
