Americans ‘Put Off’ by Harry and Meghan’s continuous criticism of Royal Family

According to a royal expert, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s continuous complaints and criticisms of the Royal Family are starting to alienate Americans.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a significant move to the United States after stepping down as senior royals and departing from Britain in January 2020.

Since then, they have been actively engaged in various endeavors, including starring in a Netflix docuseries, launching a controversial website, releasing a book, and participating in explosive interviews about the Royal Family.

In their pursuit to integrate into the celebrity world, the Sussexes have frequently attended glamorous events, such as the Bob Marley: One Love premiere in Jamaica in January.

However, their actions drew criticism for their perceived insensitivity, particularly when they posed on the red carpet with Jamaica’s Prime Minister Andrew Holness, who advocates for the abolition of the monarchy.

Prince Harry’s recent comments regarding King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, suggesting it could foster unity within the family, also drew attention.

Despite his transatlantic trip to see his father at Clarence House on February 6, their meeting lasted only about 45 minutes.

Reports indicated that Harry was open to temporarily returning to royal duties to support the streamlined monarchy, especially with Princess Kate recovering from abdominal surgery.

However, palace aides later dismissed any possibility of Harry’s return, stating there was “no way back” for him.
