Travis Kelce’s dad reveals plans for Taylor Swift’s birthday

Travis Kelce’s father Ed seemingly has a birthday present in mind for Taylor Swift.

Ed Kelce made an appearance in a recent episode of Baskin and Phelps podcast where the conversation turned to Taylor Swift’s birthday—who his footballer son has been dating for over a year

With the Grammy winner’s birthday due on December 13, Travis’ dad has decided on a gift that will “tweak the strings of her heart.”

“Buying Taylor a present is like trying to buy Jason or Travis a present,” Ed explained on the podcast. “There’s nothing they want that they don’t already have.”

Ed continued, “You can’t go that route. You have to look beyond that. You gotta dig down and come up with something special.”

“The amount of money is meaningless. You’re not going to crush Taylor Swift with a gift that cost, you know, $100,000.”

Ed went on to say that he needed to “get something that tweaks the strings of her heart that you spend 10 bucks on.”

“Then she’ll just be all gooey. You got to find something that triggers the emotion.”

Swift reportedly earned over $2 billion in ticket sales from her 152-stop Eras Tour, per the New York Times.

The 14-time Grammy winner concluded her global record-breaking tour with a final show on December 8, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. During the show, fans even sang the star “Happy Birthday” in honour of her upcoming big day.

Last year, Swift celebrated her birthday with a party in New York City, attended by her closest friends including Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Jack Antonoff, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Zoë Kravitz, and Antoni Porowski amongst the few in attendance.
