Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce pay a huge price to support each other
Travis Kelce, who has just made it to this year’s Super Bowl after a brilliant performance, took a dent to his pockets to make sure his girlfriend Taylor Swift could join him at the stadium.
The 35-year-old NFL star will reportedly have to pay a steep amount of $3M to book the luxury suite at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for his pop star girlfriend.
At present, only a few suites remain after the athlete’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates booked their spots for the much-anticipated game on February 9th against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The VIP boxes which are enough to fit 25 to 40 people, are selling for $3 as TMZ reported on Monday, which is the same amount Kelce seems to have paid last year for the Anti-Hero hitmaker, their friends and family.
After taking care of all the expenses last year, the Grotesquerie star joked about the ginormous price on his New Heights podcast.
“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” he quipped, talking to his brother Jason Kelce, ahead of the big game.
The tight end later revealed the amount in an episode of Netflix’s Receiver, as he had a discussion with George Kittle, “They’re f–king $3 million,” Kelce laughed.
The price seemed to be worth it as Kelce won the game with Swift, her celebrity friend Ice Spice, Blake Lively, Miles Teller, and his family watching.
