Ed Sheeran opens up about his current bond with long-time pal Taylor Swift
Ed Sheeran is opening about his under-rated bond with pal Taylor Swift, detailing their lengthy and laughter-filled catch-up sessions.
During his notable appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Shape of You singer fondly recalled his favourite memory with the Anti-hero hitmaker, mentioning they meet up “like four times a year.”
He exclusively told host Alex Cooper, “I think that the period of time that I was on the Red Tour…you know I lived in Nashville, and she lived in Nashville and we used to fly to and from the gigs together…I literally spent almost every single day with her for about six months, so I think that period of time.”
Despite their packed itineraries, Sheeran spilled that the two somehow manage to have lengthy discussions when they get the chance.
Describing his unusual dynamic with the 35-year-old Grammy winner, the singer-songwriter further went on to explain, “I see her when I see her; I probably see her like four times a year…Instead of catching up the whole time, we have like proper sit down six-hour catch-ups, and I think that that’s like a really nice way to do it.”
On professional front, Ed is currently hearing up for the release of his upcoming album Play as he previously referred to the latter as ‘playful and celebratory.’
