Taylor Swift’s cinematographer shares rare insight on singer’s bond with Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce has proven himself to be a supportive boyfriend to Taylor Swift over the course of their year-long relationship.
Cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto, who worked on several of Swift’s music videos including The Man, Cardigan and Willow, was a witness to the couple’s unwavering support for each other.
Having worked on the popstar’s most recent video for Fortnight with Post Malone, Prieto divulged some rare moments from the set.
“Travis is a lovely man,” Prieto told the People Magazine. “They both are. I would say that it seems like their parents educated them well.”
He shared that the lovebirds are “polite” in nature and praised their knack of making everyone feel heard and noticed.
Talking about Taylor and Travis’ chemistry, the cinematographer shared, “I think she felt very supported by his presence, and probably also proud to show him what she does, and the kind of leader she is.”
Earlier, during award acceptance speech at 2024 MTV VMAs, Swift gushed about Kelce “cheering from across the studio” as they filmed the video.
“I would always just hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting,” she recalled, “And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Prieto also acknowledged Swift’s leadership on set.
“She makes her own kind of touchdowns! And her crew follows her lead, not only because she is the boss, but because she has demonstrated to be a strong and inspired director,” he told the outlet.
The remarks come after Swift and Kelce marked a major milestone in their relationship as they enjoyed a festive occasion together. The couple were joined by their families for Thanksgiving last month.
It is reported that pair have big plans in motion for a special Christmas.
