Snoop Dogg names Top 3 NFL quarterbacks and makes big Super Bowl prediction

Hip hop legend and die-hard sports fan Snoop Dogg made a guest appearance on ESPN’s First Take on Friday, where he shared his thoughts on the top NFL quarterbacks of the season and offered a daring Super Bowl prediction.

Chatting with Stephen A. Smith and Cam NewtonSnoop named his top three QBs and hinted at an exciting playoff outcome if one team can take down the reigning champions.

Snoop wasted no time when asked to reveal his picks for the best quarterbacks in the league this season, starting with none other than Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes.

“You know Patrick Mahomes, cause he knows how to get it done,” Snoop said. Mahomes has been outstanding as usual, guiding the Chiefs to an undefeated 6-0 start.

So far this season, Mahomes has completed 111 of 160 passes for 1,235 yards and six touchdowns, as the Chiefs eye another Super Bowl appearance.

Next on Snoop‘s list was the reigning MVP, Lamar Jackson, who has led the Baltimore Ravens to a four-game win streak following two early losses.

Jackson has been in top form, with 118 completions out of 176 attempts, racking up 1,529 yards and 10 touchdowns. While their record isn’t perfect, Jackson‘s ability to ignite the Ravens’ offense has been crucial to their success.

To round out his top three, Snoop surprised the panel by picking Houston Texans‘ rising star C.J. Stroud. Unlike many, Snoop chose Stroud over Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

“I ain’t putting Josh Allen [above Stroud],” he said. Stroud has been a revelation in his second NFL season, leading the Texans to a 5-1 record and throwing for 1,577 yards with 10 touchdowns over six games.

Snoop’s Bold Super Bowl Prediction

While discussing the potential playoff picture, Snoop Dogg made a bold Super Bowl prediction centered around a possible showdown between C.J. Stroud‘s Texans and Patrick Mahomes‘ Chiefs.

According to Snoop, if the Texans manage to upset the Chiefs in the playoffs, they will go all the way.

“If CJ beat Patrick Mahomes, he gonna win the chip,” Snoop proclaimed.

He suggested that taking down Mahomes, who has earned a reputation as the player capable of toppling legends like Tom Brady, would be a defining moment for Stroud and the Texans.

Smith offered a more cautious perspective in response to Snoop’s claim, warning that even a victory over Mahomes wouldn’t guarantee a smooth path to the championship.

“You could run into Patrick Mahomes and win and then lose to Lamar Jackson,” Smith reminded the audience, underscoring how tough the AFC playoff competition will be.

Stroud will get a chance to prove his mettle later this season, as the Texans are scheduled to face both the Chiefs and the Ravens in back-to-back games in December.

Fans are already marking their calendars for the December 21st clash with the Chiefs and the Christmas Day matchup against Jackson‘s Ravens.

Despite being only in his second NFL season, Stroud has already made history by leading the Texans to their first postseason appearance since 2019.

Now, with Snoop Dogg’s bold Super Bowl prediction hanging in the air, the stakes are even higher as the playoffs approach.
