The star and producer of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ jokes about the apperance of Welshpool replica at the StoK Cae Ras Stadium, saying that Mighty Paul Mullen must live inside the airless enclosure.
Ryan Reynolds, co-owner of AFC Wrexham, took to social media to explain the mysterious appearance of Deadpool character, “Welshpool”, at the StoK Cae Ras Stadium. Reynolds revealed that the costume was worn by Mighty Paul Mullen, a star player who portrayed Welshpool in the hit film “Deadpool & Wolverine”.
The display of Welshpool in a glass box has drawn attention, with Reynolds joking that Mullen must live inside the airless enclosure. However, he clarified that Mullen is only placed there for game days and that the team reserves the right to deploy him for penalty shootouts.
Reynolds also shared photos of special guests, including Eva Longoria and his wife Blake Lively, who have visited the stadium to support the team.

Four years after acquiring Wrexham AFC, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney expressed their satisfaction with their decision despite the high costs. The team recently clinched a promotion and is now two tiers away from the Premier League.
Their experience has been documented in the FX docuseries “Welcome to Wrexham”, with its third season premiering on May 2. The new episodes will be released closer to real-time, with editing facilities set up at the stadium’s parking lot to capture footage as quickly as possible.
Reynolds and McElhenney acknowledged that their financial investment in Wrexham has been significant. Despite being advised against it, they emphasized their emotional commitment to the club and their desire to make it sustainable in the long run.
