Random people walk into background of Live of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

Ripa and Consuelos broadcasted from a golf course in California, with at least three people hilariously wandering into the background of their shot to watch.

Live With Kelly and Mark wildest week of the year continued into Wednesday after the show temporarily relocated to film at a Palm Springs, Calif. golf course, where a handful of random people cluelessly (and adorably) wandered into the frame of the show to watch Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos perform their hosting duties.

One day after Consuelos nearly sent a fly golf ball careening into a nearby woman on location at the Rancho Mirage resort, a comical number of golfers gathered behind Ripa and Consuelos as they began their morning host chat at the top of the episode.

At one point, a man and woman shuffled into the frame behind Consuelos amid their golf outing, while another man later (and more noticeably) became distracted by the cameras as he moved into the shot and stood behind Consuelos, looking toward the camera and gazing at the set from afar.

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a Live representative for comment.

Other resort hijinks for Consuelos and Ripa included the aforementioned golf ball mishap as well as the outdoor audience collectively booing Consuelos after he beat a sweet older woman at his fan-favorite “Stump Mark” trivia game.

The Live resort shows were pre-taped on Nov. 10-11, and are set to broadcast through Thursday. Interview guests for the episodes included Don Johnson, Caroline Rhea, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jerry O’Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Kyle Richards, Mark Harmon, Justine Lupe, and musical performances by Neon Trees and Bishop Briggs.

Live With Kelly and Mark airs weekdays in syndication. Check your local listings for showtimes in your area.
