Princess Beatrice ‘taking charge’ in Kate Middleton’s absence?

The Princess of York is associated with several dyslexia charities

Princess Beatrice is advised to play a major role in Kate Middleton’s absence.

The royal family is facing intense scrutiny amidst Princess of Wales absence and King Charles’ battle with cancer. However, their supporting spouses Prince William and Queen Camilla are dealing with major crisis by taking on fewer royal engagements

In an effort to address the ongoing crisis, the royal family is turning to non-working royal member Princess Beatrice to assist with managing the royal schedule.

Gareth Russell, the author of The Palace: From the Tudors to the Windsors, 500 Years of Royal History at Hampton Court, spoke exclusively to GB News about the lack of current working royals.

The commentator argued that Princess Beatrice, 35, would be a great addition while King Charles, 75, and Princess Kate, 42, have temporarily paused royal duties for health concerns.

Princess Beatrice “could do immensely valuable work for the monarchy” in Princess Kate’s absence, a royal commentator exclusively told GB News.

The Princess of York is not a working member of the Royal Family, despite being the patron of several dyslexia charities and organisations.

In an exclusive interview with GB News, Russell said: “In terms of younger working royals, you’ll be waiting 10, 15, or 20 years before there’s a new crop of working royals.

“So Princess Beatrice could do immensely valuable work for the monarchy, particularly if it’s with causes like dyslexia, which if you think about, say 20, 30 years ago, it was something that was hardly ever discussed.

“And while it is something that schools take more of an interest in now, it’s still not something that gets a good deal of public attention and isn’t as understood as it could be.

“So a royal patronage in that arena would historically have some very good results.”

The Princess of York is dyslexic and is a huge advocate of resources in schools for other dyslexic children.

Russell compared Beatrice’s advocacy to the Princess of Wales’s work in the Early Years, her initiative to help and care for young children under the age of five.

“So something like Princess Beatrice doing that is incredibly impressive.”

Princess Beatrice and her younger sister Princess Eugenie are the daughters of the Duke and Duchess of York. Both are married and have their own families, whilst also holding down private jobs.
