Princess Beatrice, Eugenie risk losing relationship with Prince Harry to avoid royal family divide
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have reportedly made huge sacrifice to avoid the royal family divide.
Beatrice and Eugenie have seemingly angered their cousin and friend Prince Harry to make King Charles and Prince William Happy
The royal sisters avoided attending Harry’s Invictus event in London last week due to fears of causing a split in the royal family, according to a royal commentator.
Princess Eugenie was the first member of the royal family that Harry introduced to Meghan Markle. However, both of Andrew’s daughters were absent from the event at St Paul’s Cathedral last Wednesday.
Beatrice and Eugenie would not have attended the event without getting the King’s approval, claimed royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams
“They [Beatrice and Eugenie] would not have been expected to be there because that would have been a sign of a split in the Royal Family, the expert told GB News.
Fitzwilliams added: “You would have had royals there, some there and not others, that would have been seized on.”
The expert went on: “If you had any members of the Royal Family going it would have been perceived as a split. There would have been no way Beatrice and Eugenie would have attended an event like that without the King’s consent.”
Beatrice and Eugenie, who are considered ninth and eleventh in line to the throne in the royal family’s line of succession, enjoy close bond with Harry.
However, they took huge risk of losing their relationship with Harry by not attending his event as she stood with the Firm as no member of the royal family graced the event amid the Sussexes’ ongoing feud with senior royals.
