Prince Harry’s bold decision about Archie laid bare

Prince Harry didn’t want Prince Archie to follow in Queen Elizabeth II’s footsteps

Prince Harry made a life-changing decision about Prince Archie’s future just months before he and Meghan Markle said goodbye to the royal jobs and relocated to the US to enjoy a new life in 2020.

The Duke of Sussex appeared to hint at his departure during a conversation with Dr Jane Goodall, anthropologist and conversationalist, who has been Harry’s longtime friend, according to the Mirror.

Harry reportedly didn’t want Archie to follow in his great-grandmother late Queen Elizabeth II’s footsteps.

Dr Goodall was allowed to hold Archie after the Sussex cradled the sweet newborn in her arms during an interview, claimed royal expert Robert Lacey.

The author recalled Ms Goodall’s words in his book, ‘Battle of Brothers’ as she wrote: “He was very tiny and very sleepy. I think I was one of the first people to cuddle him outside the family. I made Archie do the Queen’s wave saying, ‘I suppose he’ll have to learn this. Harry’s reaction brooked no doubt, ‘No! He’s not growing up like that’.”

Just a few months later, Harry and Meghan revealed their decision to step down. The pair, along with Archie, moved to the US. Meghan and Harry later welcomed their daughter, Lilibet, now aged three.

The Duke’s words suggest as he was not happy with the royal life and wanted to give a different lifestyle to his kids.
