Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemingly addressed breakup rumours in new Netflix doc
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle silenced their haters with a playful move as they gave a glimpse into their lighthearted and romantic relationship in their new Netflix documentary series, POLO.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex make brief appearances throughout the five-part show, which follows polo players competing in the US Open Polo Championship in Florida.
Analyzing the duo’s body language in the show, expert Judi James said Harry and Meghan’s interactions show a “fun side” to their relationship.
In the show, Harry lets Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, take center stage as he proudly watches her shine, the expert noted, while speaking with The Mirror.
The show also features Meghan cheering on Harry as he scores a goal. She also presents him a trophy, following which they lock lips.
“Harry is really only a vector in their appearances, stepping back like a producer with a budding starlet to allow Meghan to be admired and to register a very regal-looking set of status signals,” James said of the loved-up couple.
“She is seen as the super-WAG who cuts through all the macho peacocking to make the player she meets bend and giggle in awe and respect.
“Harry watches her proudly, also chuckling at one point and only really stepping into the frame when his wife extends a hand and invites him into the convo.”
The expert noted that the couple showed the audience their “fun side,” seemingly debunking rumours about them getting a divorce.
“Harry and Meghan do manage to show us a glimpse of shared humour here, which should be another dimension in their ongoing love story,” James said.
“They do a couple of bits of body language ‘banter’ with some pointing and some coy, flirty, shoulder-shrugging responses that make their fun side look well in tune.”
