Meghan Markle’s $1,250 Mackage coat steals the show at Invictus Games
Meghan Markle proved once again that she’s a winter fashion icon on Monday, February 10, as she stepped out in style at the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, braved the chilly temperatures in a chic and cozy cream-colored maxi coat by Mackage, perfectly pairing functionality with fashion.
Her husband, Prince Harry, was by her side as they attended the second day of the games, which took place in relatively mild weather with temperatures reaching 20 degrees.
Markle’s outfit was a stark contrast to the humorous remarks she made the previous day about her Suits character’s attire while chatting with Team U.S.A.
According to the product description, Meghan was beaming in the chic coat that was “crafted from recycled lustrous down.” The brand’s black logo on the right shoulder and black drawstrings on the adjustable storm visor are characteristics of the sleek, uncomplicated design.
The machine-washable coat also features insulated pockets, a belted waist, a front zipper and Mackage’s renowned closest-to-the-body fit.
The jacket costs $1,250 and is indicated for low temperatures up to -15°C (5°F). It comes in black as well.
Meghan added black cushioned Moncler gloves. The stretch nylon product, which was created in partnership with Reusch, features leather patches on the fingertips and palms. The gloves cost $680 at retail.
Meghan further donned a pair of black Sorel Joan of Arctic boots.
Her flawless winter appearance didn’t end there, either. To match her husband’s appearance, the Duchess of Sussex also wore a dark beanie.
This year’s Invictus Games, an annual international multi-sport competition for wounded, injured, and ill armed service members, both serving and non-serving, has been a great time for the pair, who got married in May 2018.
The event was started by Prince Harry in 2014.
