Prince Harry left ‘hurt’ by King Charles latest decision

Prince Harry left hurt by King Charles latest decision

Prince Harry’s reaction to royal family’s major move laid bare

Prince Harry, who decided to begin a new journey with Meghan after saying goodbye to the royal family in 2020, is reportedly feeling the pressure after yet another royal snub.

The Duke of Sussex has had a strained relationship with his family since his decision to step away from his duties as a senior working royal.

King Charles and Prince William’s latest move has left Harry feeling the weight of their disapproval, a royal expert has claimed.

“For the second year running Harry and Meghan have not been invited to Trooping the Colour which always coincides with King Charles’ official birthday. This did not come as a surprise, but it will still hurt,” Tom Quinn told the Mirror.

The expert went on explaining Harry’s possible reactions after his family’s snub, saying: “After missing his old friend the Duke of Westminster’ s recent wedding and now being kept out of Trooping the Colour, Harry is feeling the increasing weight of Royal disapproval. What’s really frustrating for Harry is that at one time he thought his absence from royal events would lead to increasing efforts to persuade him to attend but those days are long over.”

He added that even if they don’t attend such events and ceremony, the Sussexes are still keen to get an official invite.

“The Sussexes want to be invited to these things even if they then decide not to attend,” he continued.

Earlier this month, Harry steered clear of Trooping the Colour – an even in which Princess Kate made her public return.

Slamming Harry’s actions, Cundy told GBN America: “Let’s not forget, this is a 75-year-old man suffering with cancer, going on with all his duties, at Trooping the Colour he was stood there in the pouring rain. You just think, ‘Wow, this man is absolutely incredible’, he is everything Harry isn’t.”

In contrast to Harry’s apparent Father’s Day snub, Prince William shared a touching throwback image of himself as a child alongside his father with the caption: “Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W.”

On Friday, Buckingham Palace shared a special birthday tribute to Prince William by releasing an adorable baby picture of the heir to the throne with King Charles, seemingly sending a strong message to Harry that the monarch needs not the Duke any more after his and Meghan’s stunts against the firm.
