Millie Bobby Brown claps back at critics and cyberbullies candidly in latest post
Millie Bobby Brown has been keeping her fans on their toes with her ever-changing hairstyles.
On Saturday, March 29, the 21-year-old Stranger Things star posted a series of photos on Instagram, showcasing her longer brown hair slicked back and appearing wet, as if she had just gone for a swim.
Brown captioned the snaps, “sunset swims.” However, some fans were left confused, commenting on the post, “Wait, I thought you were blonde???”
This reaction was sparked by Brown’s recent Instagram post, where she debuted a bleached blonde bob just days ago.
In the previous post, Brown shared an Instagram Reel of herself in a bathroom, promoting her Florence by Mills Soft Girl Sheer Vanilla Hair and Body Mist.
The caption read, “Mill’s fave trick is to spray soft girl hair & body mist on wet hair for extra long-lasting scent!”
Despite the mixed reactions, many fans praised Brown’s latest look, commenting, “Wow what a queen,” amid dozens of other positive reactions.
The actress has been open about her complicated relationship with social media, revealing on the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes that she doesn’t run her own accounts.
“I don’t mind being out of the loop,” Brown noted. However, her social media accounts often share personal and candid moments, including a video posted a week before the podcast interview, where Brown called out the media and cyberbullies for fixating on her appearance.
“I started in this industry when I was 10 years old. I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow with me,” Brown said in the video. “Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things season 1. And because I don’t, I’m now a target.”
