Meghan Markle takes lesson from past mistakes as she makes big change

Meghan Markle adopts new strategy to prove her point to royals

Meghan Markle is making certain that her brand launch is executed exactly the way he intends it, and she is not shy to take measures to ensure that.

The Duchess of Sussex, who is currently struggling to make sure things go smoothly with her brand launch by the end of this year, is learning from her past mistakes, per a PR guru.

Prince Harry and his wife have often been criticised for their attacks on the royal family after leaving their senior positions in 2020, but now the couple is using a different strategy for the sake of their financial future.

“She and Harry, as a branded couple, have made a mistake in previous years of giving too much of their authentic story, which meant that people can perceive them in a way that they can’t control,” Personal branding guru Amelia Sordell told The Sun.

“By stepping back now, she is likely recalibrating her public persona to better align with the wholesome, family-oriented image that American Riviera Orchard aims to project.”

The PR expert suggested that Meghan is focussed on attracting a specific target audience for her brand which is why she is not disclosing too much at once before its scheduled debut.

“Your personal brand has to mirror who you are as a person,” she explained, while also adding that Meghan will face challenges in this regard.

Amelia suggested that “building a personal brand involves strategically deciding what you want your brand to look like and taking actions to achieve that,” but since the couple had already revealed too much earlier, it’s difficult for Meghan to be transparent and “authentic.”

Although, as Meghan keeps her public appearances limited and discreet, it is possible that her strategy may prove to be fruitful is she stays put.
