Meghan Markle praised for ‘wise’ decision

Meghan Markle makes major decision as Harry set to land in UK

Meghan Markle has left experts in surprise with her major decision ahead of Harry’s much-awaited visit to the UK.

The Duchess of Sussex has made her husband Prince Harry stress free with her sensible move to stay at home in Montecito during the Duke’s three-day trip to the country of his birth.

The former Suits star’s decision has been described as ‘wise’ by an expert who claims this will mean she avoids facing ‘hostility’.

The Duchess will remain in the United States next week when her husband, Prince Harry, jets from California to London for an Invictus Games service at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

“It’s a wise decision that Meghan isn’t accompanying Harry to the UK for the Invictus Games,” public relations guru Lynn Carratt revealed to The Mirror.

“This event is one of Harry’s greatest accomplishments, that he was already involved in before meeting Meghan,” she added.

The expert explained: “If Megan were to return to the UK, the press coverage of the Invictus Games service would likely be overshadowed by her presence, which neither Harry nor Meghan would want.”

Lynn then added: “Additionally, there is some hostility towards Meghan in the UK, and it’s understandable that she wouldn’t want to subject herself to negative press or public reception.”

This comes after The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden told Palace Confidential this week: “She does not want to return to Britain in a hurry. There are many people here who won’t be sad about that. Meghan will be wary of getting booed at St Paul’s.”

Some experts believe that Meghan’s decision to keep her husband Prince Harry and sister-in-law Kat Middleton free of stress as the Princess of Wales is already going through a difficult face of her life due to cancer diagnosis.

“I’m heartbroken at the moment, I think they are going through hell, I hope they will be back. It’s really personal,” Amaia Arrieta, a clothing designer – who has styled William and Kate’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – told the Telegraph.
