Meghan Markle, Harry deny claims about blocking The King’ gift for Archie

King Charles reportedly planned on sending £18,000 worth of gift to Archie on 5th birthday

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle refuted royal expert’s claims about them denying King Charles an expensive gift for their son Prince Archie.

Speaking to The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn recently claimed the 75-year-old monarch offered to gift the eldest son of the Sussexes, who turned five last week, worth around £18,000.

However, the Montecito couple refused to take the gift over claims the Suits alum wants to “associate his birthday with all things American”.

“Charles also suggested that he give Archie a playhouse not a plastic child’s playhouse, but a superb hand-made shepherd’s hut, complete with bunks and bookshelves,” he told the outlet.

“He would love to give Archie something similar but knows that Meghan and Harry are against it,” Quinn explained.

“Meghan wants Archie to associate his birthday with all things American because Archie is already constantly asking about his royal family in the UK,” the expert added.

According to OK! magazine, sources close to Harry and Meghan denied that such incident happened at Archie’s birthday.
