The Duchess of Sussex received praise from her popular legal drama ‘Suits’ co-star
Wendell Pierce, who played Meghan Markle’s on-screen father in Suits, heaped praise on her for being the ‘nicest person ever.’
In conversation with television host Chris Wallace, the 60-year-old American actor called the Duchess of Sussex a “wonderful” actress and friend
He added, “The one thing that bothers me the most right now for Meghan is the fact that I know she would love to act again.”
Wendell also gave a rare insight into his last conversation with the mother-of-two on their popular legal drama’s set.
“It was the last night of working and I said, ‘Meghan, your life is going to change, and you’re going to be in a bubble, but just always remember, no matter what, I’m your friend, you have lots of friends,'” he shared.
Speaking of Meghan’s decision to step back from the position of an active working royal, Wendell said, “The controversy and the life living in the public eye always takes on a life of its own. And it’s almost one of those things that sometimes you can’t control.”
These comments came after it was reported that the former working royal might make her comeback in the upcoming Suits spin-off.
