Meghan Markle “could attend New York Fashion Week” with the Duchess poised to walk the runway in a clever “PR stunt”, it has been claimed.

Back in January, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Bob Marley: One Love premiere in Jamaica. The couple were in attendance at the glitzy event after getting an invite from the Paramount Pictures CEO, Brian Robbins, according to reports.

While at the event, Meghan wore an all-black ensemble that comprised of a stunning floor-length, silk taffeta skirt by designer Carolina Herrera, paired with a simple spaghetti-strap, square-neck body suit. And after this fashion moment, the question on everybody’s lips, is “could Meghan attend NYFW this month?”

The Duchess of Sussex, who resides in California with her husband and two kids, attended New York Fashion Week regularly before marrying Prince Harry. But last year, rumours surfaced that she was banned from the front rowsat shows by the New York Fashion Week Council.

Speaking to us exclusively, Hollywood and royal guru Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR has revealed that she thinks Meghan could make a NYFW comeback, telling us that she’s “not sure how true” the banned claims are, adding: “I thought designers would fall over themselves to dress her. Say what you want about Meghan, she does have a great style and fashion sense.”

She went on: “Despite not having attended the event for many years, it could be advantageous for her to appear this February. She is believed to have an extra connection to the event this year, having signed with a talent agency that is believed to be connected to the main event.”

Touching on Meghan’s fashion choice for the Bob Marley movie premiere last month, Lynn said: “It’s long been known that Caroline Herrera is her favourite fashion designer. She is often snapped on red carpets and at public events in her garments. Caroline is no stranger to Royalty or former Royalty, in Meghan’s case, wearing her clothes. Kate Middleton and Queen Letizia of Spain have both been photographed wearing them.

“Only last week, she pictured wearing a stunning Caroline Herrera gown at the Bob Marley: One Love premiere and who could forget the bold Caroline Herrera red gown she wore to attend the annual Salute To Freedom Gala in New York in 2021.”

Lynn then dropped a bombshell that will likely get Meghan Markle fans rather excited, with the Hollywood guru speculating: “It is all possible Meghan will be Frow at Caroline’s show in New York on February 10th; maybe she’ll even work the runway for her – that would be a good PR Stunt.”
