The Duchess of Sussex to talk about women’s representation in media and entertainment industry
Meghan Markle is all set to become a part of a notable panel discussion on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
As reported by GB News, the Duchess of Sussex has been selected as one of the keynote panellists at the South by Southwest, commonly referred to as SXSW’s panel discussion titled, Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen.
Notably, Brooke Shields, Katie Couric, Errin Haines and Nancy Wang Yuen would join the former Suits actress in the highly awaited panel talk.
For the unversed, SXSW conducts a series of festivals and conferences, highlighting “several key industries like tech, music, film, education and more.”
This year, the events are expected to took place in Austin, Texas from March 8 to 16.
The Co-President and Chief Programming Officer of the SXSW said, “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, Katie Couric, Brooke Shields, Nancy Wang Yuen, and Errin Haines are the perfect finishing touch to eight days of remarkable Keynote Speakers.”
He added, “We are so honoured to host this distinguished group on International Women’s Day for a significant discussion on the importance of representation in media and entertainment.”
Moreover, Meghan has been making it to the headlines since the announcement of her return to a new podcast.
The former working royal is all set to kick off a new podcast series with Lemonada Media.
