‘Live’ Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Shares Big Retirement Plan With Fans

Live With Kelly And Mark host, Kelly Ripa loves her job most of the time, but she knows all good things must come to an end.

Recently, she shared big retirement plans on the horizon for her and what that looks like for Mark Consuelos.

Kelly Ripa Is Preparing For Departure

Lately, the Live With Kelly And Mark show has been buzzing with the news that the show will be relocating. While the official move isn’t until 2025, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos get their dream gig for a few days. Since the show will be transitioning, Live has agreed to allow Kelly and Mark to pre-record episodes in Palm Springs, CA, while they vacation on the side. As they soak in the sun, the couple will record on Sundays and Mondays to prepare shows for regular release during the usual airtime.

Notably, when they mentioned that former President Donald Trump has been named as the new president after Tuesday’s vote. Since Donald Trump used to co-host on Live, Kelly suggested that Mark consider being president in the future. While Mark doesn’t seem to think that is his personal aspiration, Kelly likes entertaining the idea. Additionally, during the Wednesday show, Mark mentioned the weather was supposed to be beautiful outside. But Kelly was irritated that everyone else was going to get the “good weather” when they trot off to Palm Springs. She wants to be able to rub it in that she is getting the great temperatures while they are struggling through winter. Unmistakably, with vacation and Palm Springs dancing through Kelly’s mind, she can’t help but bring up her retirement plans.

Kelly Ripa Shares Big Retirement Plan With Fans

Since Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are heading to Palm Springs over the weekend to prepare for the recorded Live With Kelly And Mark episodes, they are thinking about retirement. She has discussed that retirement is inevitable for her and she does love Palm Springs. Furthermore, family members have heard the news of the Palm Spring episodes and then congratulated Kelly and Mark on their “move.” Undoubtedly, there is a bit of confusion.

Kelly says, “My uncle has called me to congratulate me on moving to Palm Springs. I’m getting all these phone calls from people saying, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe you’re finally moving to California after all these years.’ And I’m like, ‘We’re going for four days. Everybody calm down.’” But this is a perfect time for her to visualize life in retirement. She says, “We’re trying to show what our retirement will look like. His days occupy golfing, me learning to play bridge, us hiking together, and you golfing more. We’ve got our whole lives mapped out; we can almost see it.”

She Is Manifesting Her Retirement In Palm Springs

Both Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos love Palm Springs and try to get there as often as possible. Although Kelly didn’t say when retirement would happen, they have spent some time talking about life after years of working. She believes she “manifested” the move for Live, so now she is focusing on making her “bridge playing” days come true. However, she is entertaining the idea of being First Lady Kelly Ripa if Mark changes his mind about running. Or maybe she’ll up the ante and run for president herself after she concludes her time on Live.
