“What a wild ride,” Torriero wrote of his time on the hit MTV reality show
It’s been 20 years since Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County first hit airwaves, and its cast is celebrating the milestone.
On Sunday, Sept. 29, Talan Torriero commemorated the anniversary of the hit MTV show, which followed a group of Laguna Beach High School teens, by reuniting with castmates Stephen Colletti and Jason Wahler for a TikTok.
In the short-and-sweet clip, the trio strikes several poses to the iconic theme song, Hilary Duff’s “Come Clean.”

“On this day 20 years ago the first ep of laguna beach premiered,” Torriero wrote over the video and, in a comment, added, “What a wild ride.”
Naturally, the comments were brimming with 2000s nostalgia, with fans ribbing Torriero for reminding them of their age.
“When life was so easy! Can’t believe it’s been 20 years!” one user wrote, and the Laguna Beach alumnus responded, “So much easier.”
“Thanks for making me feel old talan,” another wrote, which earned a smirky emoji reply: “😏.”
Since Laguna Beach premiered two decades ago, its cast — which also featured Kristin Cavallari and Lauren “LC” Conrad, Trey Phillips and Lo Bosworth — has only reunited a handful of times.
Ahead of the November 2020 presidential election, some of the former costars got together to promote voter registration and in April 2023, Cavallari, 37, featured her former castmates in a campaign video.
In a nostalgic ad for her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James, the former Laguna Beach “villain” even donned the black choker necklace she was known for wearing on the series.
Along with Colletti, 38, Cavallari also hosted a Laguna Beach rewatch podcast, Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen, in which they chatted with former castmates as guests.
As for the guys of the 20-year reunion TikTok, Torriero appeared in both seasons 1 and 2 of Laguna Beach, during which he briefly dated Cavallari and built up a playboy reputation. In 2014, the former reality star married Danielle Zuroski and has welcomed three kids.
Perhaps most remembered for his Laguna Beach love triangle with Conrad and Cavallari, Colletti dove into acting, starring as Chase Adams in One Tree Hill, in Taylor Swift’s “White Horse” music video and, most recently, on the comedy series Everyone Is Doing Great.
He is currently engaged to NASCAR host and reporter Alex Weaver.
Wahler, meanwhile, starred on season 2 of Laguna Beach as Jessica Smith’s boyfriend. He later dated Lauren Conrad, and was featured in the first season of The Hills — one of the series’ three spinoffs.
After publicly speaking about his substance abuse addiction, Wahler now works as a recovery advocate. He married his wife, Ashley Slack, in 2013, and they share two children.
