The reality TV star opened up about postpartum struggles in her new post on Instagram
Kourtney Kardashian admitted that she wasn’t ready to shoot the promos for The Kardashians during her postpartum period.
Taking to Instagram, the reality TV star detailed her emotional experience of returning to work after giving birth to her son Rocky Thirteen, who is six months old.
In shared photos and a short video clip, the Poosh founder can be seen posing and recording the promos for the show’s promotions. However, she was accompanied by her little bundle of joy on set.
Kourtney started her caption on a sad note, saying, “I was 3 months postpartum and not feeling quite ready for a big shoot like this where there’s lots and lots of people watching me all day.”
She added, And even though my baby boy was with me all day on set it’s not the same when I’m covered in makeup, in high heels and wearing a dress versus our snuggly days at home in pajamas.”
While sharing her struggles, the socialite also expressed gratitude for being able to work, which helped her shift her mind into something positive.
She continued, “I am so blessed to be able to bring my baby to work. How fun to get to be glammed up when I’ve been home for months in pajamas. How blessed to get to work alongside my sisters and mom…we really have so much fun together! What a beautiful life!”
It is pertinent to mention here that Kourtney welcomed a boy named Rocky with her husband-drummer Travis Barker, on November 1 following IVF struggles.
She also has three children with her ex-husband Scott Disick: Daughter Penelope, 11, and sons Mason, 13, and Reign, 8.
