In A Confessional Of Her Family’s Reality Show ‘The Kardashians’, Kim Acknowledges That Her Daughter North ‘Is My Lesson On This Planet’ Because The 10-Year-Old Teaches Her Patience.
Kim Kardashian might need to learn from Kanye West when it comes to parenting their children. In the Thursday, November 2 episode of “The Kardashians”, the SKIMS founder revealed that her daughter North West called her dad “the best” parent due to some reasons.
“She’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best,’ ” the 43-year-old told her sister Kourtney Kardashian. ” ‘He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.’ And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.’ ”
Kourtney, who shares three kids with ex Scott Disick, could relate to Kim’s story. “They do that at Scott’s too,” the Poosh founder, who is currently pregnant with her and Travis Barker’s first child together, claimed. ” ‘Dad has the best house, your house sucks. He has the best house. It’s not super big, the vibe’s better.’ I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s more involved.’ ”
In a confessional, Kim stated, “Kourtney always says that North is my lesson on this planet.” She added, “I’m supposed to learn even more about patience – she teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life.”
Back in June, the TV personality discussed her and her ex-husband Ye’s different take on letting North on TikTok. “I think it’s always tough when you’re co-parenting and someone wants something and someone doesn’t,” she told TIME magazine. “I would say, the Ice Spice videos. [North] said, ‘Mommy, can I post this?’ I was out of town so I had my nanny was there and allowed it.”
“As soon as I saw the words, I was like, ‘Oh no, we’re taking this down.’ She would totally understood. So, I think that’s the trial and error sometimes,” she added. “I saw on the internet, [people saying] ‘Kanye was right,’ and maybe he was in that instance.”
Despite that, Kim insisted that nothing is wrong with letting North on the popular video app. “She loves making slime videos and doing her little hair tutorials, and I will fight for her to be creative,” the mom of four stressed.
