The ‘Yellowstone’ star and the ‘Basic Instinct 2’ actress apparently want to keep in touch after reportedly having an ‘openly flirty’ interaction at the event.
Kevin Costner and Sharon Stone might have wanted to keep in touch following their recent encounter. It has been confirmed that the “Yellowstone” star and the “Basic Instinct 2” actress “exchanged numbers” after getting “flirty” at the 2024 Governors Awards.
On Wednesday, December 4, a source spilled what the 69-year-old actor and the 66-year-old actress did after having a fun chat at the event. Speaking to In Touch, the source confirmed that “they exchanged numbers.” The source went on to say, “Sparks were flying.”
The revelation came more than two weeks after Kevin and Sharon made an appearance at the 2024 Governors Awards. During the award-giving event, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, November 17, they reportedly had an “openly flirty” interaction.
Kevin and Sharon allegedly enjoyed each other’s company in what sources described as a lighthearted and charming exchange. An eyewitness told Daily Mail, “They started off polite with small talk, then he put on his Kevin Costner charm, you know, like the vibes he gave off in ‘Bull Durham‘ and ‘Tin Cup‘, like heyyyy baby.”
The source went on to say, “Who knows if they went home together or even exchanged numbers, but it certainly looked like they liked each other a lot.” Meanwhile, another onlooker shared, “Sharon is such a class act. She handled it very well and was cute. She winked at him and was sweet.”
Prior to the encounter, which became the talk of the town, Sharon publicly came to Kevin’s defense during his turbulent divorce from Christine Baumgartner. Sharon drew on her own messy split from journalist Phil Bronstein to comment on the extravagant child support demands in Kevin’s case.
At that time, Sharon commented on Christine citing the luxury lifestyle her and Kevin’s children were accustomed to while requesting $160,000 a month in child support. Taking to Instagram, Sharon wrote, “My ex thought the same,” adding a laughing emoji.
Sharon adopted three sons with Phil after tying the knot in 2000. The former couple divorced in 2004 before she won custody of Roan in 2008. As for Kevin, who was ordered to pay Christine $63,209 per month for child support, he shares three children with his former wife.
