Kelly Ripa, as co-host of LIVE with Kelly and Mark. The actor hopped onto the bandwagon in 2023 after Ryan Seacrest announced his departure. Since then, it has been both hilarious and adorable seeing the husband-and-wife duo lead the show together.
Working together means sometimes the audience will get to hear some tidbits about their personal and married lives. During one of their episodes, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos revealed a hilarious nickname of their youngest child and how it came into play.
During an episode earlier this month in which both Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos looked as ravishing as ever (how are they 53!?), they revealed a little family trivia to their live audience.
While talking about some of the most romantic places on planet Earth, Consuelos made sure to mention Canada’s Montreal on the list and his reason was pretty damn hilarious. Or romantic. You pick.
He revealed that their son, the youngest of their three, was conceived while the couple was on vacation in Montreal. Thus, their son Joaquin’s nickname ended up becoming ‘Made in Montreal.’ He stated, “One of our kids, his nickname is ‘Made in Montreal.’ It’s a very good city.”
To this, Ripa chimed in with one of her jokes that made her husband and co-host erupt in laughter.
Well, what ended up happening was that Michael and Lola got a younger brother who is now 21 years old.
Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa Celebrated their 28th Anniversary
The moment she saw his photograph, she knew she was going to spend the rest of her life with him. During her appearance on Lunch with Bruce, she stated, “When I saw him, the photograph of him, I saw my entire future with him flash before [my eyes] — like I saw it.”
Despite a brief split, the couple eventually reconciled and tied the knot in 1996. Since then, they have been going strong, with three children, and have established themselves as one of Hollywood’s hottest couples.
On May 1st this year, the couple celebrated their 28th anniversary together and they look as happy as ever. Ripa posted a set of photos of them together over the years. She captioned the post, “Sueezing 28 years into 10 pics is not possible, but you get the idea. Happy anniversary to the love of my life @instasuelos. So grateful to you for all the dreams come true.”

Honestly, if Consuelos and Ripa aren’t couple goals, we do not know who is! We cannot wait to see them celebrating more and more wedding anniversaries and we will be shedding a happy tear each year on May 01!
