Kelly Ripa’s not a regular mom, she’s a demure mom. Or at least, she’s totally in on the meme when it comes to her daughter, Lola.
Ripa, who shares adult children Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21, with husband Mark Consuelos, proved she that she was more than aware of the latest internet trend when commenting on one of Lola’s recent social posts.
Lola uploaded a series of photos to her Instagram account last week — including two shots of herself sunbathing, one sans bikini top.
“Is this demure?” she captioned the carousel of photos, referring to TikTok influencer Jools Lebron’s iconic “very demure, very mindful” video, which has gone extremely viral.
Ripa, for her part, commented, “Very mindful.”

Ripa and Consuelos, who wed in 1996 after meeting on the set of All My Children, have shared a few NSFW stories of their own over the years. In fact, the couple — who have long been open about their close relationship with their children — have detailed their most embarrassing family moments along the way.
Back in 2019, theLive With Kelly and Mark hosts recalled the time that Lola, then 16, walked in on her parents having sex.
“‘You just ruined my birthday! And my life!'” Ripa quoted her daughter, while sharing the awkward encounter with the audience of her talk show at the time. “‘And I used to see in color, and now everything is gray!'”
It isn’t just Lola, however, who has accidentally bore witness to her parents’ personal time — as Ripa and Consuelos found out at brunch the next morning, both Michael and Joaquin have had the unlucky fortune to do the same.
“The other kids are like, ‘Oh, yeah, you remember that one —?’ They all started sharing stories of when they walked [in on us],” Consuelos quipped. “And I’m like, does anyone knock in this house?”
“Nobody knocks!” Ripa exclaimed in agreement. “Nobody knocks in our house!”
