According to Page Six, Ripa explained the situation on Let’s Talk Off Camera. She said that once, she and Consuelos were in Italy with their kids Lola, Michael, and Joaquin. She mentioned the lack of “alone time.” Unfortunately, their daughter Lola went into their hotel room and saw what was happening.
Ripa added on her podcast, “The same thing happened eight years later on her 16th birthday. Same exact thing. She threw the door open.”
According to Ripa, her daughter said, “Oh, my God, life is over. I used to see in color, and now everything is gray. How could you do this to me? What is wrong with you people?”
Ripa also talked on her podcast about having a long-distance marriage because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She said that they would FaceTime each other, which was fine and made sense. Of course a married couple wants to keep in touch when one of them is traveling and they don’t get to see one another.
But, then, she got a little too detailed when she said, “I became so alarmed at my appearance over FaceTime that I started hanging the computer on a ladder, so that I could look up to Mark [and] he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing.”
