Prince William is reportedly preparing Kate Middleton for her first public outing since her abdominal surgery
Kate Middleton may finally resurface in the public as she is reportedly getting ready for her first royal engagement.
The Princess of Wales has not appeared in the public since she was last seen on Christmas. The royal had gotten an abdominal surgery in January 2024 and has been recovering in private since.
Since then, her disapperance from the public and the secrecy surrounding her health has given rise to conspiracy theories and many rumours over her well-being.
Now, according to The Sunday Times, Prince William and Kate will be sharing the details of her surgery and recovery soon.
“They are at their most open when out interacting with members of the public and I can see a world in which the princess might discuss her recovery out on engagements,” a royal source told the outlet. “If she was going to do it, that’s how she would do it.”
A friend of the couple also revealed that Kate and William “will want to be clear and more open, but they’ll do it when they feel ready. I would expect that to be her instinct and it will be her call. They’re not going to be rushed.”
Kate Middleton first public public apperance since surgery revealed
The Sunday Times also reported that while it is still uncertain if Princess Kate will be stepping out, Prince William has been preparing her for her next royal engagement.
Initially, the Princess was supposed to step out after Easter but according to the outlet, Kate will not be out in the public until April 17.
If it were to take place, this would be the first public apperance of the princess since Christmas 2023 and amid the ongoing Mother’s Day photo diasater.
