Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian barred from speaking post-infamous wedding toast
Khloe Kardashian has confirmed reports that she and her sister Kourtney have been banned from delivering speeches at family events.
The reality television personality shared a repost of a photo from her sister’s Instagram story, where Kourtney was seen addressing attendees at the launch party for her wellness brand, Lemme.
Alongside the photo, she explained that the ban stemmed from a past incident where they both delivered a drunken speech at Kim’s second wedding.
The elder sister also addressed speculation about her recent appearance, suggesting she may have used a filter in a recent snapshot.
Addressing the matter, Khloe affirmed the ban on speeches since the wedding, emphasizing the less-than-ideal outcome of their previous toast.
Despite the ban, she expressed her desire to have their speech privileges reinstated, suggesting that their performance was well-received by most attendees.
The reality television personality recalled the events surrounding Kim’s second wedding to Kris Humphries in October 2011, which ended after just 72 days.
The star previously discussed her ban from speaking during Kim’s subsequent wedding to Kanye West in May 2014.
Khloe recalled Kanye’s playful taunts regarding the microphone, “Kanye was giving his speech and was like, Khloe, I know you want the mic, he was like taunting me.
It was, like, one ranter to another ranter, I want that mic,” she recalled
