Jennifer Lopez thought this was it — and who could blame her? The actress had found her way back to Ben Affleck, nearly two decades after their widely-publicized romance had ended, and the pair appeared to have successfully rekindled their love for one another amid a surprise, storybook 2022 marriage.
But marital bliss for Affleck and Lopez proved short-lived. Last April, Affleck moved out of the $60 million Beverly Hills mansion he shared with Lopez, and J.Lo filed for divorce in August; the two film stars finalized their separation in January, and though just a couple of months have passed, the parties appear to be dealing with the breakup in starkly different ways.

While Affleck has been spending loads of time around his first ex-wife, Jennifer Garner — sparking rumors that they will eventually reunite — Lopez has been comparatively struggling, according to an exclusive report from Radar Online.
“Jen is struggling to move on from her relationship with Ben,” an insider revealed. “She is eager to date again, but it seems that her lofty expectations and lingering feelings for her ex-husband may be holding her back. She’s also such a diva it is hard for any man to get close to her ideals.”

Most recently, Lopez has been tied romantically to actors Kevin Costner and Brett Goldstein, but the “Let’s Get Loud” singer remains unattached, according to the insider. The 55-year-old would like to date again, but her exacting standards and an inability to move past Affleck are among the factors inhibiting her progress.
