George, Charlotte and Louis have been on Easter break since March 23rd
A family friend of the Princess of Wales just highlighted the children’s reaction to their mother’s cancer diagnosis and how they are coping with the situation.
News of it all has been shared by the insider to People and began the entire conversation by sharing that the children are at the centre of their world.
Princess Kate’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are helping her remain in good spirits following her cancer diagnosis.
Prince William’s wife Kate revealed that she had undergone a form of preventative chemotherapy in an emotional video message released on March 22nd.
Kate is now continuing her recovery process at home and will not undertake any royal duties for the foreseeable.
A family friend of the Princess of Wales has hailed the positive impact that spending time with George, 10, Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5, who “buoy them with smiles” is having on Kate and William.
The insider told People: “Having fun together when they can is very important.”
They added regarding George, Charlotte and Louis: “The children are at the centre of their world.”
During her video message, the princess confirmed that she had told her three young children about her diagnosis.
Kate said: “It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.”
The family friend told the publication regarding George, Charlotte and Louis’ reaction to the news: “You take heart from the extraordinary resilience of children”.
No date has been given regarding Kate’s return to public duties while she receives treatment for the condition.
The Princess of Wales said that cancer was found in tests following her abdominal surgery at the London Clinic.
George, Charlotte and Louis have been on Easter break since March 23rd.
The children will return to Lambrook School in Berkshire for the summer term on April 17.
