Gwyneth Paltrow wants to ‘reach more people’ with new Good Clean Goop line

Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow tries a more affordable approach to products at Amazon, Target

Gwyneth Paltrow is going budget friendly with her new Good Clean Goop line.

The lifestyle brand led by Gwyneth Paltrow branched out from its high-end roots by launching Good.clean.goop, a more affordable health line available at Target and Amazon.

Regarding the new, fully under-$40 brand, which she claimed has been years in the making, the actress-turned-mogul stated to Bustle last week, “I am thinking about just being able to reach more people.”

The star claims to be “spending a lot of more time” in the megastore “just looking at the breadth of what’s available” recently.

Adding, “Maybe 10 years ago, we were like, “Wouldn’t it be so cool if we could do a line that would show up in Target?” said the Oscar winner.

With her new line, the actress claims that she and Goop are still adhering to “our own internal dos and don’ts” for clean-branded goods, despite the fact that they may be targeting a whole new market.

Paltrow, 51, told the outlet, “We ban thousands of ingredients from both what we make and what we sell on the site from a multi-brand perspective”.

Body care products from the newest brand include the Body Facial Exfoliating Scrub ($30), Body Smoothing Replenishing Cream ($30), which the company claims will “improve skin tone and smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles,” and Naked Elixir Body Oil ($30), which is intended to increase hydration and brightness.

The brand is full of skincare staples like the Wide Awake Eye Serum ($25), which claims to help “visibly smooth lines and wrinkles,” the Nutrient-Rich Daily Moisturizer ($30), and the Daily Juice Facial Cleanser ($20), just like its more expensive predecessor, Goop Beauty.
