The ‘Shake It Off’ Songstress Gives A Deadly Star And Takes A Sip Of Drink While The Comedian Jokes About The Attention To Her Relationship With Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift’s reaction to Jo Koy’s joke about her at the recently wrapped-up Golden Globe Awards has gone viral. In a video which has circulated online, the singer/actress looked unimpressed as the host took a jab at the attention to her relationship with Travis Kelce.
“As you know we came on after a football doubleheader,” the comedian said in his monologue. “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL – on the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift. I swear, there’s just more to go to.”
After a moment of awkward silence, Koy quickly apologized for his failed joke, saying, “Sorry about that.” Meanwhile, the camera panned to Swift to see her reaction, but she didn’t seem to be amused as she took a sip of drink instead.
Many took to social media to roast Koy over his failed joke. “She’s all of us listening to him,” one person commented on Swift’s reaction. Another said the comedian should be given “the flop of the year award.” A third said, “This one missed the mark tbh,” while a fourth simply remarked, “She didn’t like it.”
Swift’s BFF Selena Gomez, who was seated at the next table, also looked quite bored during Koy’s monologue. The “Only Murders in the Building” actress looked down and didn’t really pay attention as the host targeted toward the crowd.
In a sweet moment, the two stars looked cheerful as they reunited at the 81st annual award. They were seen sharing a sweet embrace before the show started on Sunday, January 7. She held a champagne glass while posing with the former Disney darling inside The Beverly Hilton Hotel, where the show took place.
Swift was also seen having a blast as she took a selfie with Keleigh Sperry. Later, the three girls hung out together at a table where they were seen enjoying a friendly conversation before they each returned to their respective seats. Sperry, who came with her husband Miles Teller, was seated next to Swift that night.
