Princess Kate’s sister and James Matthews married on May 20, 2017
Pippa Middleton marked her seventh wedding anniversary with her husband James Matthews today.
Princess Kate’s sister married her financier husband on May 20, 2017, at St Mark’s Church in Englefield. Pippa wore a £40,000 ivory lace dress designed by Giles Deacon for the special occasion in the picturesque English countryside.
The couple exchanged vows in front of Prince William, Princess Kate, and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Following the ceremony, a reception for 300 guests was held on their 18-acre estate, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also made an appearance.
Matthews first met Pippa in 2007 at his parents’ luxury hotel in St. Barths, a frequent destination for the Middleton family. The couple dated briefly in 2012 before Pippa entered a three-year relationship with Nico Jackson. After Pippa and Jackson parted ways, she was seen with Matthews in December 2015, and they have been together ever since.
Pippa and her husband have three children, Arthur, Grace, and Rose, who are cousins to Prince William and Princess Kate’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Pipa , James, and Carole Middleton have been a bedrock of support for Princess Kate amid her cancer treatment.
Gareth Russell, a royal author, told GB News: “Family is such an important bedrock to anyone undergoing a serious illness and particularly ongoing, lengthy treatment for it.
“I don’t think we’ll ever know what the Middletons’ role will be, beyond that of a loving family.
“We won’t know the specifics because they are very private, and discreet, which is which I think is to their credit.”
There has been no acknowledgment from Pipa’s sister Kate Middleton so far who is currently battling cancer.
