Britney Spears’ Mom Seen Shopping At Dollar General Amid Alleged Financial Struggles

Lynne Spears Is Pictured Stocking Things Up At The Discount Store Following Allegations That She Is Selling Off Her Singer Daughter’s Personal Items During Estrangement.

– Britney Spears‘ mother is seemingly shopping on a budget amid her alleged financial struggles. While her daughter has been making money from the sales of her memoir, Lynne Spears has been spotted stocking things up at Dollar General probably to save money.

In photos circulating online, the mother of three was seen wheeling a shopping cart filled with items out of the discount store in Britney’s hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. She was pictured loading items into her car before heading off.

During the outing earlier this week, Lynne sported a terracotta sweater and black slacks. Her long brown hair was let loose and hang on her shoulders with natural wavy strands.

Back in September, it was reported that Lynne is now working as a substitute teacher to make ends meet. She reportedly has been back teaching elementary school kids and on part-time work at a local school in Kentwood, Louisiana to pay her bills. “She is struggling to pay her bills, but she has already substituted for several classes at [a local school],” a source told Daily Mail.

Earlier this month, the outlet claimed that Lynne has been selling her famous daughter’s personal items since 2018 for profit during estrangement. Among the pop star’s favorite items that she has been selling allegedly included a hat Britney wore at the 2000 Billboard Music Awards, her Butterfly boots from the 2003 Kids’ Choice Awards and a top worn on “TRL” in 2002.

The items were reportedly sold at Connie’s Jewelry and Gifts in Kentwood, Louisiana, which is owned by Britney’s childhood friend Cortney Brabham’s family, and the online site Poshmark. So-called insiders said that Britney would be “fuming” to learn her personal belongings are being sold.

In her book “The Woman in Me”, Britney claimed her mother got rid of her doll collection and journals. Lynne denied the singer’s claims, writing on Instagram earlier this month, “I’m not sure who told you I got rid of your dolls and journals but I would never do that! That would be cruel because I know how much they mean to you. They are special to me too because of the years we spent collecting them.”

Posting a series of images showing the items, she added, “Of course I still have your things, and I am happy to send them to you if you’d like me to. Please let me know and know how much I love you!”

Britney later responded to her mother’s denial. She wrote in the caption of her own post, “Ps mom I love you so so much, but there were 3 dolls in the cabinets when I went home 2 years ago … kinda really weird you would take them out and then put them back in … so messed up. Nope, I don’t want them. Keep it all. I honestly don’t care anymore … honestly though.”
