Britney Spears conservatorship ‘happened for a reason’: Report

Britney Spears has sparked concern over her wellbeing after some recent ‘concerning’ behaviour

Britney Spears might be worse off without a conservatorship, per a new report.

Amid a string of concerning behaviour from the Princess of Pop – the most recent being an alleged physical altercation with her on-off boyfriend Paul Rochard Soliz – sources spoke out to Page Six about the conditions surrounding her conservatorship.

“I hate to say it, but the way this is all going – this is what we feared,” one source expressed

Another noted that her 13-year-long conservatorship, which was terminated in November 2021, was put in place for a reason.

“The narrative of Britney having been locked away for no good reason other than her dad being evil and wanting to work her for every last penny has always been wrong,” they claimed, while acknowledging that “there is no question that Jamie Spears is a flawed father and the way that Britney was put to work in Vegas was awful. It should never have happened.”

“However, there is also no question that the conservatorship – and the interventions prior to it – happened for a reason and it wasn’t because her dad wanted to make some nefarious money grab,” the source continued, further emphasising, “It was put in place because Britney has serious mental health issue and was going completely off the rails.”

Notably, Spears has dismissed all claims that she is “going off the rails.”

After recently having the ambulance called on her, the Grammy-winner insisted that “the news is fake” and the paramedics entered her room “illegally” making her feel “harassed.”

She further reassured fans, “I’m reaching my higher power.”
