Billy Baldwin and his wife Chynna Phillips were seen sharing a warm embrace outside Jayde’s Market in Los Angeles, despite recently revealing their unconventional living arrangement.
The couple, who wed in 1995, have decided to live apart in Santa Barbara and Beverly Hills to improve their marriage. They have three children together: daughters Jameson, 24, and Brooke, 19, and son Vance, 22.
In a video posted to Phillips’ faith-based YouTube channel, California Preachin’, she explained that the arrangement is working well for her. “I don’t know if it’s working for Billster, but I’m very happy with what we’re doing,” she said.
Baldwin, however, has admitted to being allergic to Phillips’ energy. “I bring out the worst in her,” he said in the video. Phillips acknowledged that both partners have quirks that can trigger each other, leading to frustration.
Despite their challenges, the couple remains committed to their marriage. Phillips emphasized that she is “battling for our marriage, not against it.”
“We have decades of love between us, that’s definitely not going anywhere,” she wrote in the caption of her YouTube video. “Marriage is deep waters and I’m running a tight shipwreck! Me & Billy are peanut butter & jelly.”
While their separation has raised concerns among some fans, Phillips has reassured that it is intended to strengthen their relationship. “It’s time for us to mature and grow,” she said. “I refused to have the same marriage that we had 30 years ago.”
Despite their unconventional living arrangement, Baldwin and Phillips appeared happy and loving in their recent sighting outside Jayde’s Market. They were seen embracing, carrying shopping bags, and chatting amicably.
