Blue Ivy gets special credit over prep in Beyonce’s shows
Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter works just as much backstage as onstage, in the preparation of shows.
The 43-year-old pop superstar needs the final approval of her 12-year-old daughter, who often performs with mom, to finalise what she wears on set.
Queen Bey’s trustworthy stylist Shiona Turini shared the crucial job Carter has in recent interview with Harper Bazaar.
Turini revealed that the teen’s latest outfit at her appearance in Diva hitmaker’s Superbowl halftime had also gotten the preteen’s seal of approval.
Carter’s taste and Turini’s expert skills brought together the customised white crystal-encrusted corset and slouchy fringe pants, with courtesy of Ukrainian designer Frolov.
“You can play around with her options because she will be different from anyone else, no matter what,” the celebrity stylist told the outlet about little Carter’s outfits.
For the “Beyoncé Bowl,” as the performance came to be known, they intended Cowboy Carter songstress and her eldest daughter to have coordinating looks.
Turini added, “With Blue, we get to have a lot of fun because it’s just one independent special costume, and ultimately she makes the final choice.”
“I was happy that she chose that, and I think she looked great,” she gushed
This comes after the popstar in the making has often donned coordinating outfits with her mom’s.
On Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour in 2023, her mini-me made several appearances in matching outfits with the 32-times-Grammy winner.
The mother-daughter duo twinned again at the red-carpet premiere of Mufasa, the live-action movie in which both of them make a joint appearance.
