Taylor Swift Shows Support To Emma Stone By Secretly Attending ‘Poor Things’ Premiere In NYC

The ‘Cruel Summer’ Hitmaker Showed Love For Her Actress Friend By Quietly Attending The Actress’ Premiere Event For Her New Film In New York City On Wednesday, December 5.

Taylor Swift is about girls supporting girls. The “Cruel Summer” hitmaker showed love for her friend Emma Stone by quietly attending the actress’ “Poor Things” premiere event in New York City on Wednesday, December 5.

Photos and videos taken from the event also confirmed Taylor’s appearance. In one clip that circulated online, the “Anti-Hero” could be seen arriving at the venue while donning a long black dress and black coat. She was ushered in as photographers grabbed her picture but she kept walking forward.

Meanwhile, Emma was asked about her friendship with Taylor during a red carpet interview at the event. When asked if Taylor’s song “When Emma Falls In Love” is really inspired by her, the “Cruella” actress, who looked stunning in a yellow dress, told Entertainment Tonight, “You would have to ask her.”

In response to that, ET’s Rachel Smith responded, “I just might tonight, I hear Time’s influential person might be here tonight.” To that, the “La La Land” star said, “We will see.”

Emma wasn’t the only one who played coy about Taylor’s appearance at the event. When asked if the premiere would welcome a special guest, “Poor Things” director Yorgos Lanthimos said, “I have no idea what you’re talking about,” adding, “I don’t.”

Margaret Qualley, the wife of Taylor’s best friend and songwriting partner, Jack Antonoff, remained mum about whether or not Time’s 2023 Person of the Year was coming to the event. “We’re hearing that maybe there’s a top secret special guest coming tonight. Lips are sealed?” Rachel said, to which Margaret said, “Yes ma’am.”
