Cade Hudson Jumps Into The Pop Star’s Defense, Criticizing The Popular NBC Comedy Show For Making Fun Of The Pop Star And Her Memoir In A ‘Pathetic’ Skit.
Britney Spears‘ manager Cade Hudson wasn’t happy with the latest episode of “Saturday Night Live“. Cade didn’t hold back in criticizing the popular NBC comedy show for making fun of the pop star and her memoir in a “pathetic” skit.
The Saturday, November 11 episode, which was hosted by Timothee Chalamet, featured a skit parodying the “…Baby One More Time” hitmaker. Cast member Chloe Fineman could be seen portraying Britney during an interview where she discussed her new memoir, “The Woman in Me”.
Chloe appeared to mock Britney’s speech pattern as she talked about how the book made it on the New York Times best seller list. She also noted that while Michelle Williams narrated the audiobook of the memoir, she wasn’t the only celebrity interested in the narrating gig.
Later, the skit went on spoofing a variety of celebrities, including John Mulaney, Julia Fox, Natasha Lyonne and Kevin James, “auditioning” for the voice narrator role. Host Timothee played Martin Scorsese who said, “Who’s saying action? I’m saying action? You saying action?” Meanwhile, Ego Nwodim portrayed Jada Pinkett Smith who read her own memoir “Worthy” instead of Britney’s tell-all book.
Cade quickly slammed the show in an Instagram comment. “Wow. The writers of SNL are getting worse and worse,” he wrote. “No wonder you all reached out to me to get Britney on the show… SNL is on life support. You all are pathetic.”
He also put Chloe on blast. “This Chloe [Fineman] isn’t funny. Did you find her on Craigslist or something?” he wrote.
Britney, meanwhile, has yet to comment on the “SNL” skit.
