During one of her latest interviews, Jennifer Lopez left more than one person speechless with the latest and unexpected confession she made about her separation from Ben Affleck.

There is no doubt that 2024 was one of the hardest years for Jennifer, both personally and professionally. Not only did she have to cancel her desired concert tour, but she also had to face her breakup and subsequent divorce from Ben Affleck.

Among them, a movie for Netflix and a new musical tour. A topic that, as expected, she discussed in her interview with the aforementioned Spanish media outlet:

“I’m having a great time. Honestly, I think this is the best moment of my life and that’s why I’m excited to go out and share it with everyone. I don’t want to go out without being able to give my best to my fans or anyone.”

However, Jennifer Lopez also opened up like never before about her personal growth and how she managed to overcome the darkest moments of her life. Among them, her well-known divorce from Ben Affleck.

“I had a very tough year,” the artist assured, although she did not mention Ben Affleck’s name at any time. “Unexpected things happened. So I read many books, did a lot of introspection, meditated, prayed a lot… I wanted to improve my relationship with God,” she added.

With all this personal work, singer Jennifer Lopez only wanted to achieve one thing: “I wanted to consolidate the family unit that my two twin children and I are.”

Moreover, as if that were not enough, Jennifer Lopez also revealed the promise she made to her children while going through those challenging months of her life:

“I told them: ‘I promise you it’s a difficult time, but you’ll see that I’ll come out stronger and better.’ I promised them and I kept it. And now they feel it… That gives me great peace in my life.”
