The Former Host Of ‘The Bachelor’ And His Longtime Partner, Who Got Engaged In October 2021, Tied The Knot Twice In Two Different Ceremonies That Were Held In Napa Valley, California, And Austin, Texas.
Saying “I do” once was not enough for Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima. The former host of “The Bachelor” and his fiance tied the knot twice in two different ceremonies that were held in California and Texas.
According to PEOPLE, the 52-year-old and his now-wife exchanged vows on October 14 in Napa Valley before hosting a “blowout bash” at a ranch in Austin on November 4. “As much as we wanted an intimate weekend for our wedding ceremony in Napa, we also wanted to celebrate getting married with all the great friends we have – hence this bigger party,” the bride shared with the outlet.
“Doing the second event in Austin [where the couple lives full-time] gave us the ability to include all of our friends,” she added. “And also made sure that we didn’t leave our wedding feeling like we didn’t even see any of our loved ones – a story we’ve heard before.”
One day prior to their second wedding, Chris and Lauren hosted a “Bachelor World” reunion at their home. Among the guests were Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland, Ben Higgins and wife Jessica, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham, Sean Lowe and wife Catherine, JoJo Fletcher, Trista Sutter, as well as Colton Underwood and husband Jordan C. Brown.
Of the second nuptials, Chris gushed, “They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and that’s what we’re leaning into.” He went on to exclaim, “We’ve asked guests to come ready to party!”
Chris proposed to Lauren at a winery in Napa Valley back in October 2021. Posting photos from the proposal on Instagram, he penned, “I love you @laurenzima The next chapter starts now!”
