Get you a friend who gasses you up like Loren does with J.Lo.
Loren Ridinger rides hard for her best friend, Jennifer Lopez. In a new interview with Us Weekly, the entrepreneur and Motives creator opened up about her friendship with J.Lo and how they’ve shown up for each other through difficult times.
“She’s been one of my best friends for so many years and somebody who’s been a big support,” she told the outlet. “I love her and I admire and I look up to her, but she’s been a pillar of strength at a time where it’s been hard for her, too. She’s a powerhouse.”
Loren is no stranger to hard times, as she unexpectedly lost her husband, JR Ridinger, back in August 2022, just weeks after they attended Jennifer’s wedding with Ben Affleck. Now, as she continues to grieves her loss—and as J.Lo moves forward following her divorce from Ben—the friends have “relied on” each other.

“I realized that you don’t have to lose someone to grieve,” Loren continued. “You can actually go through the loss of a loved one or a divorce and grieve.”
She went on to shout out other friends who have supported her through her loss—such as Serena Williams, Alicia Keys, and Jamie Foxx—but Loren explained that she and J.Lo “were so fortunate that we had each other” through tough times.
“If we wanted to cry, we could cry. If we wanted to laugh, we could laugh. And we realized that there is sun again and there are rainbows again. She’s such an inspirational person,” Loren gushed.
Ben and Jennifer settled their divorce last month, and according to the court filing obtained by E! News, they agreed to walk away with whatever money they each acquired during their two-year marriage. The docs also revealed that the Kiss of the Spider Woman star will restore her former last name, since she changed it to Affleck after their wedding
