Taylor Swift penned Caitlin Clark a letter inviting her to the Chiefs game
Caitlin Clark dished on her experience watching the Kansas City Chiefs game with Taylor Swift at the Arrowhead Stadium last week.
In a conversation with David Eickholt of 247Sports, the WNBA star shared, “Obviously, I’m a huge Chiefs fan, I’ve been a huge Chiefs fan, and obviously Taylor is a huge Chiefs fan too, so it was fun and obviously worked out where we could go and we had the time.”
Clark admitted that she was in shock when she was invited to watch the game with the So High School crooner. She shared that if she would’ve known about the opportunity before, she probably would have been like, “‘What?!,'”
“It’s just cute to see how excited she is for the Chiefs,” Clark continued. “And getting to share that with her, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I love this!’ She loves the Chiefs as much as me.”
Clark further praised The Alchemy hitmaker, for being “very sweet and kind.” She added that seeing Swift’s energy in the stadium reminded her that, despite of their high-prolife careers, they are still very “normal people” who enjoy simple things like “watching sports”.
Clark had attended two shows of The Eras Tour at Indianapolis, where she met Travis Kelce and his mom, Donna Kelce.
After learning Clark’s admiration for both the popstar and the Chiefs tight end player, Swift sent her multiple bags of Eras Tour merchandise and wrote her a letter inviting her to a Chiefs game, according to the Time magazine.
Currently, the Kansas City Chiefs have defeated the Buffalo Bills at the AFC Championship game, securing their spot in the Super Bowl.
