Olivia Rodrigo Deems Sheryl Crow ‘Legend’ After Their 2023 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Duet

After Delivering ‘If It Makes You Happy’ With Sheryl, The ‘Drivers License’ Songstress Showers The ‘Everyday Is A Winding Road’ Singer With Praise In An Interview.

Olivia Rodrigo has showered Sheryl Crow with praise following their duet. After taking the stage with Sheryl at the 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the “Drivers License” songstress deemed the “Everyday Is a Winding Road” singer a “legend.”

Speaking to Billboard on Friday night, November 3, the 20-year-old singer/songwriter exclaimed, “It was an honor to join Sheryl on stage and I am so excited for her to be inducted into the RRHOF!” She went on to gush, “I am a massive fan of hers and her incredible songwriting. She’s equally as kind as she is talented and I feel so lucky that I was able to be part of celebrating such a legend.”

Olivia’s compliments came after she and Sheryl kicked off the music event, which was held that same day, with their duet. Olivia and Sheryl, who looked in sync with their black outfits, performed the latter’s song titled “If It Makes You Happy.”

The two artists were smiling from ear-to-ear, trading verses and showing their skills in playing guitars throughout their performance. Before leaving the stage, Olivia, who was wearing a black crop top and a pair of brown pants, pointed at Sheryl as the latter gave a small bow. They later wrapped up their duet with a warm hug.

Before delivering the song, Olivia and Sheryl hit the red carpet of the event and took a number of photos together. In pictures making their rounds online, Olivia looked stunning in a short black dress that came with a halter neck design and a black flower embellishment on the wearer’s upper chest. She also donned a pair of open-toe black platform high heels.

In the meantime, Sheryl looked stunning in an asymmetrical black gown that came with sparkling embellishments and a cut-out on the wearer’s tummy. She accessorized the look with a pair of huge earrings. For the stage performance, she changed into a black tank top, matching outer and a pair of long matching pants.

In addition to her duet with Olivia, Sheryl, who attended the induction ceremony as the new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, performed her track “Strong Enough” with Stevie Nicks. She went on to deliver her single “Everyday Is a Winding Road” with Peter Frampton.

The event was also attended by other stars, including Laura Dern, who inducted Sheryl. Laura called the new Hall of Famer “a bada** goddess.” Laura added, “She mapped out the chapters of our lives.”
