King Charles is desperate to meet his California-based grandchildren Archie and Lilibet
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally delighted King Charles ahead of Christmas celebrations.
Meghan and Harry made the crucial decision to delight the monarch after they were reportedly not invited to Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where the Royal Family traditionally spend Christmas.
They will remain in California for the holiday season this year with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
However, Harry and Meghan shared a rare photo of their kids in the family’s 2024 Christmas card, apparently delighting the King who is desperate to meet his California-based grandchildren.
Meghan and Harry’s holiday card features first new photo of Archie and Lilibet in years.
The photo — one of six in the multi-photo greeting — captures the children from behind as they excitedly run toward their parents.
Archie and Lilibet look more grown up than ever in the image, which includes the family’s three dogs.
It also shows Meghan smiling towards Archie and Harry squatting to greet Lilibet, confirming his recent comments about her long hair — red, just like her older brother’s.
This is the first time Meghan and Harry have shared a glimpse of the kids since they were last seen when they briefly appeared in their docuseries Harry & Meghan for Netflix, released in December 2022.
