The Valentine’s Day horror, ‘The Gorge’, promises to be a gripping watch for thrill-seekers and romantics alike as Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller are pitted against an unknown evil lurking beneath a mysterious chasm.
Apple TV+ has unveiled the first trailer for its highly anticipated 2025 film “The Gorge,” directed by Scott Derrickson (“The Black Phone”, “Doctor Strange”). The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller as elite snipers Drasa and Levi, assigned to guard opposite sides of a deeply classified gorge that is believed to be the “door to hell” and contains an undisclosed, mysterious evil.
Despite being instructed not to communicate, Drasa and Levi begin to connect from a distance using handwritten signs and binoculars. As a mishap occurs and Levi falls into the depths of the gorge, Drasa dives in to attempt a rescue, igniting a budding romance and a thrilling mission to keep the secret of the gorge buried
In addition to Taylor-Joy and Teller, “The Gorge” features Sigourney Weaver as a government official overseeing the operation. The film’s script is written by Zach Dean (“The Tomorrow War”) and produced by a team of industry veterans, including David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Scott Derrickson, C. Robert Cargill, and Adam Kolbrenner. Executive producers include Miles Teller, Zach Dean, and Gregory Goodman.
“The Gorge” promises a blend of action, supernatural horror, and romance as Drasa and Levi confront unseen powers and the depths of their own emotions. The film will premiere exclusively on Apple TV+ on February 14, 2025.
